MASSACHUSETTS BASED ROCK BAND

Florence is a high-energy rock band based in Lowell, MA, originally formed in Melrose, MA by Eddie Krouse and Oliver Hannon alongside the band’s original rhythm section. After releasing their debut album Reasonably Stoked and making waves in the Massachusetts underground scene, the band took a nearly year-long hiatus before returning in 2025 with a new lineup and a sharper, heavier sound.

Now in their early 20s and joined by drummer AD Ndiku and bassist Danny Thompson, Florence has evolved into a more aggressive and dynamic unit — blending grunge, alternative, and modern rock into a sound influenced by bands like Nirvana and The Deftones, while making it distinctly their own. Their latest single, “Fade On,” is the fourth release from their upcoming sophomore album, Turtle Rock.

Florence delivers emotionally charged, head-banging rock music with intention — loud, live, and unrelenting.
